Dear friends and family,

After much thought and consideration and with the completion of our new hospital, we have decided to close our Magazine Street Animal Clinic location. The past 20 years has been an absolute pleasure caring for your pets and getting to know each of you as a part of our family. Over the past several years we have outgrown the Magazine Street facility. We knew that we needed to make the commitment to expand our ability to serve our patients and their pet parents better. Thus, we began planning a new hospital. We opened our new location, East Riverside Veterinary Hospital at 3969 Tchoupitoulas St. this past July.

Our hope was to continue to offer both facilities as options for our clients. However, due to staff shortages, we have struggled to maintain both locations and to still work as an effective team. Therefore, our last day of business on Magazine St. was Friday January 27, 2023. Though we are saddened to end this journey at Magazine Street Animal Clinic, we are so excited to offer the best quality of medicine at our new hospital, East Riverside Veterinary Hospital. This hospital is located just 4 minutes from the Magazine Street location, near Mojo Coffee and Barracuda.

It offers a state-of-the-art ICU, surgical and dental suites, more off-street parking, covered pickup and drop-off area, a larger boarding facility and luxury accommodations for your pet. In addition to the fantastic team of doctors you know and love, we are excited to welcome Dr. Lucy Fleischmann and Dr. Jenna Charles to our team. Our commitment to providing you the best support and care for your pet is still, and will always be, our top priority.
