Annemarie Healey, Office Manager
Annemarie is an office manager who helps make sure that everything runs smoothly at the hospital. She manages inventory, the staff and assists the doctors as needed. Annemarie loves building relationships with clients and their pets and assisting in educating them how to give their pets the best life possible. She also enjoys keeping the hospital organized and creating graphics. She always brings new ideas and has a great sense of humor! At the hospital, she loves how closely the team works together. Annemarie has her Master of Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She joined the team in August of 2012. At home, she takes care of five pets: 2 cats – Sumi and Krispy, and 3 dogs – Noma, Taddie, and Basil. In her spare time, she is a freelance Illustrator creating nature-related illustrations, linocut prints, and custom pet portraits.
Gabrielle Corso, Office Manager
Gabrielle is an office manager who assists in training new hires, supervising and reviewing staff, and speaking with clients. Gabrielle brings an unwavering positive attitude and loves speaking with clients and getting to know their pets. She has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Texas A&M University, graduating in 2015. During her time there, she studied DNA based analysis of grasshopper diets and host plant use patterns. She loves how the office has a team atmosphere and how well everyone works together. At home, she has one tuxedo cat named Domino. In her spare time, Gabrielle likes to spend time with friends and family, listen to music, go to concerts and explore the city!
Front Office Manager
Kelly Kovac
Kelly Kovac was a receptionist at an animal hospital in Wisconsin for six years before she moved to New Orleans. We’ve been fortunate to have her work with us since February 2011. She brings compassion and understanding to both the patients and their owners. In her free time, Kelly plays sports, watches the Packers and Brewers, and goes running with her hound mix, Turner, every morning. She also runs marathons and spends lots of time outdoors with her husband Ronny.
Technicians
Jenna Marie Morales, Registered Veterinary Technician
Jenna is a veterinary technician whose job primarily consists of assisting Dr. Teresa, along with monitoring, anthesis, inducing, recovery and assisting in office work as needed. She loves making are she provides the best quality of care to all of her patients, along with answering any questions or concerns. She attended the Delgado Veterinary Technician program and graduated in 2011 and received her Associates of Applied Science. She began working at Magazine Animal Clinic as an Assistant Technician in July from 2005-2009. She also assisted with kennel duties. At home, she loves caring for her dog Paluma!
Jonnie LaVergne, Registered Veterinary Technician
Jonnie is a full-time Veterinary Technician at MSAC. She achieved her Associates Degree in both Veterinary Technology and Applied Science at Delgado Community College. Jonnie completed their Vet Tech program in 2016 and joined our team in August of that year.
Jonnie assists Dr. Scott throughout the day with general animal care and during complicated/specialized surgeries. Some of these procedures include orthopedic surgeries, root canals, and laser therapy. Jonnie loves establishing relationships with clients and their pets. She enjoys the daily challenges faced in office and learning through new experiences.
In her free time, Jonnie enjoys traveling with his husband, visiting family in Lafayette and performing in musical theater. She has two dogs (Brewster and Simba), two cats (Ollie and Cecilia), and a Quaker Parrot named Pistachio.
